Great worked well : American Standard 047107-0070A Flush Valve Assembly
I installed this yesterday into one of our toilets that is 24 years old and still has the traditional actuator. These things get out of alignment after many years, and the traditional would not close securely (the disc would fall off to the side a bit) so the toilet would keep running.
Installment was easy after I figured out that you have to setup the screws and brass plates into the holes loosely Before you place it on the chance of the tank. Then you can swing the brass plates into place and tighten the screws. At first I tried something else and almost lost a screw in the tank.
I went to find other one today at the local plumbing contribute store since I have more American standard toilets that need this piece replaced, and they wanted $75 for this same item!!! I told them no thanks! And this was after I had to wait for 10 minutes for person to wait on me. So I will be buying more here.
